Ricochet headlines entertainment schedule

With a little help from 94.9 The Bull, the Suwanee Day festival is going a little bit country this year. Ricochet will headline this year’s entertainment line-up with a free performance at 8:30 p.m. The Lost Trailers will open the evening entertainment with a 7:00 p.m. performance.

One of the most popular vocal groups in country music, Ricochet has been going strong since being named The Academy of Country Music’s Top New Vocal Group in 1996. The five-member band plays hundreds of live shows each year and is the first country group to ever chart with the “National Anthem” on Billboard’s Top 40. Ricochet’s hits include the number one hit single “Daddy’s Money” as well as “Love is Stronger than Pride,” “Ease My Troubled Mind,” “He Left a Lot to be Desired” and several others.

The Lost Trailers are enjoying the frenzy generated by their top-10 hit “Holler Back” from their first major label CD of the same name. Also a five-member band, The Lost Trailers have headlined clubs all over the country and opened in massive arenas for established stars such as Sugarland, Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley, and Kenny Chesney.

The remainder of the Suwanee Day festival entertainment schedule includes an eclectic collection of free performances.
